Global Impact Executive

As the Global Impact Ministry Executive at Bethany Church Singapore (BCS), your role is to oversee and improve the ministry's operations. You'll oversee planning and coordinating programs, ensuring smooth communication among team members and stakeholders. We're looking for someone who's highly organized, detail-oriented, and great at bringing people together to achieve our mission effectively.

Programs within the Global Impact Ministry include:

The Development Program:
This program aims to empower foreign Indonesian domestic workers in Singapore through a comprehensive development program. It includes various courses such as English language proficiency, computer skills, entrepreneurship, makeup artistry, and more.

International Global Network:
Bethany Church Singapore also collaborates with other international organizations such as Transform World, Empowered 21, YouVersion, John Maxwell Program, and others. The goal is to be a blessing not only in Singapore but also to nations worldwide.

Position Responsibilities:

The Development Program:

• Prepare and build strategy for Impactful Ministry with one of key program to lead Development Program Ministry for Foreign Domestic Worker.
• Become main contact and liaise with the external parties, including: FAST (Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training), Embassy of the Republic Indonesia, Universitas Ciputra, and others.
Preparing the course and to do the planning for the upcoming courses, including preparing the subjects, volunteers and material for the teacher and students.
• Manage database of the current students for each class, preparing the report of attendance, and submitting the report to the relevant parties, including preparing the report for FAST.
• Manage and oversee the volunteers, including recruiting new volunteers for this program, coaching and ensure necessary supports are available for the volunteers.
• Manage the social media platform of Development Program (Instagram, Facebook and Website) to support Development Program Ministry.
• Promoting the program through the different social media platform, communities and through the existing students and alumnus.
• Evaluate potential locations, vendors, and other professionals for future course and training.
• Assist tutors, students and external parties to ensure meet the program objectives.
• Ensure all administrative task and process are in place, including financial reporting and budget related to the program.
• Conducting counselling and follow up on students who need some assistance.
• Build dashboard and measurement to ensure effectiveness of the program.

International Global Network:

• Coordinate and collaborate with international personnel in charge of organizing conferences for Transform World and Empowered 21. This includes planning, publication, registration, and overseeing the event's execution.
• Conduct assessment and review of programs from YouVersion, John Maxwell, and other global organizations, to potentially implement them within BCS church or other organizations.
• Conduct trials for new programs.
• Develop strategies and plans to expand the impact and network of the Global Impact Ministry.

Requirements:

• Diploma or University Degree in Business Administration, Management, Education or Public Relation.
• Certification in Project management will be advantageous.
• 4+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles, preferably in a nonprofit or development organization.
• Detail-oriented and reliable in time-management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
• Familiar to use social media platform.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility in working hours arrangement.

Youth Pastor (English Church)

The English Church Youth Pastor will be responsible for leading and nurturing the spiritual growth of our youth community, fostering meaningful relationships, creating engaging programs and events that cater to the unique needs and interests of young people, and develop the Youth Ministry and see Youths transformed.
Key administrative and ministerial responsibilities include, but not limited to, providing theologically sound biblical teaching primarily to youths up to tertiary, leading small and large group sessions, and coordinating virtual and in-person events.
The position is part of the Bethany Church Singapore (BCS) pastoral team called to shepherd and lead the Youth English congregation

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral care, leadership, and discipleship for the Youth Ministry.
• Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to faith, integrity, and biblical principles.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead youth events.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to youth facing personal challenges, crises, or spiritual questions.
• Provide administrative support for the ministry, regular correspondences to youth, families and volunteers, youth calendar updates and oversee social media accounts.
• Provide training, mentorship, and opportunities for youth leaders to grow in their faith, leadership skills, and ministry effectiveness.
• Supervisory of program coordinators and volunteers in relation to ministry events.
• Recruitment, engagement, and relationship development with volunteers, youths and their families.
• Participate and collaborate in BCS’s staff meetings, trainings, and events.
• Leading small and large group sessions, and coordinating virtual and in-person events.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent theological education from an accredited seminary or Bible college.
• Ordained or licensed by an appropriate denomination or church body.
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, with a deep and growing relationship with Him.
• Proven experience in pastoral Youth ministry, with a track record of effective Youth leadership, preaching, and teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Fluent in English and understand Bahasa Indonesia or Chinese will be advantages.
• A team player with a positive attitude who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic organizational environment, whilst striving for continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback.
• Meticulous and conscientious in nature, with the ability to work with confidential information and maintain a high standard of honesty and integrity.
• Ability and willingness to work nontraditional schedules which includes evenings and weekends.
• Keen passion for growing in theological knowledge, and in understanding of contemporary youth culture to better support the Youth Ministry.
• Have relevant theological studies, qualifications and/or experience in similar capacities.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively plan and execute programs and events with strong time management & relational skills.
• A servant leader who demonstrates humility, integrity, and a heart for serving others.
• Alignment with the doctrinal beliefs, values, and mission of the church.
• Have at least 3 years of pastoral ministry experience in the church and/or equivalent, and to be recommended by his church leaders.
