WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO US?
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ
We are living in a fallen world; people do not hold the Bible as the absolute truth. We see people getting confused about gender/LGBT issues, the sin of the mankind is pervasive and sadly the church has become permissive. We should hold fast to the rules and regulations of God because this is the only road to blessings. There will be a time for judgment as in the parable of the five wise and five foolish virgins. Let us make an effort to be faithful until the end to keep our eternal salvation. Serve the Lord in reverence, and in godly fear. We should not take His grace and mercy lightly.
John 3:16 starts with the sentence, “For God so loved the world.” God is love. He came to the world because of His unconditional love for us. God cares for you and me and He writes our names in the palm of His hands, He is our loving Father in Heaven. Our God is an almighty God; He is also wise and does not make mistakes. He knows the beginning until the end; the Alpha and the Omega. He knows what He is doing regardless of our limited understanding.
God has created us, and He has great plans for each one of us. Jesus was born for us, for you and me.
Walk in the Light of God
John 1:13 – “… born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”
For the remission of sin, God gave His one and only son for us. He came to world for a purpose so that whoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life. Believe in Jesus Christ, let us receive Him into our hearts. Spread the good news of the Gospel for one more person for Jesus. Live for Jesus, love God not money. Love the Healer more than the healing, love the Source of blessings rather than the blessings. We never know how much it costs to see our sins upon the cross for God to send Jesus to redeem us. Allow the Holy Spirit to do His supernatural work in our life. Take up the cross daily as our worship to God.
Carry Out the Works of God in our Life
As we have believed in Jesus Christ, we should do the works of God that He has set for us. Respond to the call of God in our life. Our life is a vessel for His works and purposes. Pray for the sick, share the good news of salvation; let our light shine before men. Give the right response to God this Christmas. Let our life become a pleasing aroma in His sight. We are His workmanship and co-partners for the expansion of God’s Kingdom (John 3:21). This Christmas let our life become the best gift for Jesus, offer ourselves for His glory.
